To manage the Bank and oversee the issues that are the responsibility of the deputy general managers reporting to him—i.e., the Regulations Deputy General Management, the Economic Research Deputy General Management, the Operations Deputy General Management, the Means of Payment Deputy General Management, the Central Services and Administration Deputy General Management, the Information Technology and Organization Deputy General Management, and the Asset Administration and Trust Control Senior Management, the General Security Senior Management, the Risk Assessment Senior Management and the Information Security Senior Management. He reports functionally to the Governor.
He graduated in Economics at Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) and obtained a Master’s degree in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT). He also attended a Training Program on International Financial Issues in Emerging Markets at Columbia University.
Mariano Flores Vidal served as Director for South America and as Head of M&A for Latin America and Iberian Peninsula in Thomson Reuters. He was chief of advisors to the president of Banco Ciudad, consultant in Macroeconomics and Finance and advisor in Economics and Finance to the Argentine Senate.
He has taught Monetary Economics at Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), and Monetary and Fiscal Policy at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). He has given courses on Monetary Economics at the BCRA, at IAE Business School and at Universidad Austral in Rosario.
