There are three variants for the
one-cent coin, which was issued on April 10, 1992. Two of them are made from
a 92% copper-8% aluminum alloy, but differ in shape —one is circular and the
other, octagonal. The third variant, of 97% copper, 0.5% tin and 2.5% zinc,
is circular in shape.
