Fifty-cent circulated coin issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the passing of Law N° 13010, that provided for the women’s right to vote. The coin has similar features to the ones currently in circulation.
 

OBVERSE DESIGN The main design is based on an original engraving of Eva Perón’s face by master Mario Baiardi, dated 1952. Curving around the upper border is the inscription “REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA” (“Argentine Republic”) and around the lower border, “MARÍA EVA DUARTE de PERÓN.”
REVERSE DESIGN Around the upper border are the legends “CINCUENTENARIO LEY N° 13.010” (“50th anniversary of Law N° 13010”) and “VOTO FEMENINO OBLIGATORIO” (“women’s right to vote”); the center is incused and features the number “50” over the word “centavos” (“cents”) and the years “1947-1997” above it. In the exergue, the year of minting, “1997,” with a laurel branch in each side. The coin is medal aligned.
