To perform the duties as assigned or delegated by the Governor and to substitute the latter in case of absence, impediment or vacancy (BCRA Charter, Section 13). He is a member of the Board of Directors.

Curriculum Vitae

A graduate in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, Mr. Pesce is a member of several professional association. He has lectured at the University of Buenos Aires Economic Data Analysis chair and Seminar on Government Economics.

He has published numerous papers on economic and budgetary issues.

He drafted various bills that later became constitutional clauses and laws at the national, provincial and municipal level.

He has held several important public positions. Most importantly, he was the Minister of Economy during the federal intervention to the Province of Santiago del Estero, a Ministry of Economy representative to the Central Bank, the chairman of the Trust Fund for Corporate Reconstruction, the City of Buenos Aires Treasury and Finance Secretary, and an advisor to the National Congress on financial and budgetary issues.
