To guide, coordinate and supervise planning and management activities related to the provision of goods and services to Central Bank departments and areas, and the preparation and review of the Bank’s financial statements and budget. To supervise and encourage the preservation and promotion of the Dr. José Evaristo Uriburu Numismatic Museum and the Dr. Raúl Prebisch and Tornquist Libraries.

To manage, coordinate and supervise activities related to BCRA human resources management. To advise senior institutional authorities on the development of the human resources policy.


Curriculum vitae:

A lawyer graduated from the School of Legal and Social Sciences of the National University of the Littoral, Ms. Traverso held several public positions before joining the Central Bank.

She was the director of Nación Servicios S.A. (2008-10); an advisor to the House of Representatives (2007-8), the Minister for Water Affairs (2005-7), and the Senate (2004), all in the Province of Santa Fe; the chairwoman of the Federal Labor Council Employment Commission (2002-3); and the Labor Undersecretary of the Province of Santa Fe (1999-2003).

She has also advised other agencies, such as the Agricultural Engineering Professional Council, the Banco de la Provincia de Santa Fe Employee Benefit Fund, and the Argentine Public Servants’ Association.

She is a member of the Institute of Public Law of the Santa Fe Bar Association and the Argentine Administrative Law Association (AADA), among other organizations. She coordinated the Water Code Drafting Commission for the Province of Santa Fe (2007) (bill in Congress).

She authored the book entitled “Régimen de infracciones laborales en la Provincia de Santa Fe” (The labor offence regime in the Province of Santa Fe ) (2004).
