The first Governor of the Central Bank held this position from May 31, 1935 until September 18, 1945, and during his term of office there were various Presidents and Economy Ministers in Argentina. With President Agustín P. Justo, Treasury Ministers were Federico Pinedo, Roberto M. Ortiz and Carlos A. Acevedo. With President Roberto M. Ortiz, Economy Ministers were Pedro Groppo, Federico Pinedo and Carlos A. Acevedo; while with President Ramón S. Castillo, the Economy Minister was Carlos A. Acevedo. With President Pedro P. Ramírez, Economy Ministers were Jorge A. Santamarina and César Ameghino; and with President Edelmiro J. Farrell, Economy Ministers were César Ameghino, Ceferino Alonso Irigoyen and Armando G. Antille.
