Governor of the Central Bank for a first term between January 19, 1949 and June 3, 1952, during the Juan D. Perón Administration. Roberto Ares headed the Economy Secretariat. Second term as Central Bank Governor between May 29, 1973 and September 2, 1974, when Héctor José Cámpora was the President of Argentina and José Ber Gelbard was the Economy Minister. Mr. Gómez Morales remained the Central Bank Governor with Presidents Raúl Lastiri, Juan Domingo Perón and María Estela Martínez de Perón. He was also the Economy Minister who succeeded Gelbard. |
