75th Anniversary of the Central Bank of Argentina

imagen de la moneda

This series of commemorative coins—in cupronickel for circulation, and in gold and silver of “proof” quality—pays homage to the 75th anniversary of the creation of the Central Bank of Argentina. The Central Bank was founded in 1935 within the framework of a monetary and banking reform during the administration of Agustín P. Justo.

This numismatic piece was designed by the Central Bank's Deputy Management Office for Control, Design and Numismatics, under the Management Office for Treasury Control and Planning.

Out of the total pieces coined for circulation, 5,000 units have a plain edge, each of which is delivered within a case together with the features of this issuance.
